Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry have combined for five major championships. Martin Trainer and Chad Ramey have combined for two PGA Tour wins. Yet, there they were together battling in the playoff to claim the Zurich Classic trophy. Rory and Shane prevailed, and each took home just shy of $1.2M. I'll be interested to see the viewership numbers for this tournament, as I don't know anyone who was crazy excited for it. Regardless, it counts as a win for the Irishmen.

It also counts as a win for William Noland of Georgia GolfDawgs. William started both of the winners, and added Xander Schauffele (T23 with Patrick Cantlay) to win the week and the $25 Skin! It was a risky strategy, but it paid off. Congrats!

Matthew Cohen of Precept moved into the overall lead, with Shawn Chait of Shawnc and Justin Hanson of Green Monster 2022 both less than $1M behind. Josh Behrendt of 4-Putt Bogey leads Segment 3 by just more than $2M over my Orange Balls team.

The CJ Cup Byron Nelson is this week from TPC Craig Ranch near Dallas. This tournament holds the distinction of having the most name changes... this is the 14th name for the tournament since it was first played in 1944. Get those picks in... and good luck! Cheers!
